The South African Airforce Museum is Located adjacent to Port Elizabeth Airport. Friendly volunteer staff will explain all sorts of history and aviation facts and the kids will definitely enjoy climbing on some of the displays.
The South African Airforce Museum’s main building is crowded with exhibits with whole or part of aircrafts, numerous models, paintings and illustrations, uniforms and a Buccaneer flight simulator (for which there is an extra charge.) The second building is a short walk away and contains preserved aircraft, parts of aircraft and other craft under restoration.
There is a small café available onsite that sell snacks.
